Accredited Online Law Schools
People who search for accredited online law schools in the US would have a tough time finding one. That is because there are no accredited web-based law schools whatsoever in the country. Due to various reasons, the American Bar Association does not accredit online law schools.
However this does not mean that an online degree in law would not be of any use to practice law. The state of California permits students who have completed sufficient number of classes in non-accredited online law schools to sit for the bar exam. All other states in the US however permit only law graduates from accredited law schools to take up the bar exam. Law graduates from web-based law schools in California can also sit for the bar in other states once they practice law in California for five to seven years.
