My weekend
Two weekends ago I finally got my oil changed in my car (only 5,000 miles too late) AND my windshield wipers replaced. Unbeknownst to me (because it had been so long since I washed my car), they had rusted & were falling apart. Good timing, too, with all of the rain we’ve been having. Especially driving home on Sunday through a downpour on 376.
Anyway, this past weekend, I was at a truck show! Went to Bloomsburg to visit some friends and the one guy enterered his Jeep in & we walked around to look at all of the crazy things that people do to their trucks and saw some mud races, some monster truck races, and some other time races for souped up trucks where they jump over piles of dirt and other stuff. The monster trucks also had time to do some freestying & saw them jump over & crash on top of other cars. Also saw lots of trucks break down & have to get towed off. I bet of all the kids, I would be the last one you would expect to be at a truck show! Also went to a local fireman’s fair and won 4 40oz. bottles of pop by tossing rings and landing on the bottle neck. Couldn’t believe my luck! Anyway, the weekend was fun, but I got a little extra sun & was in a bit of pain for a few days and started peeling yesterday.
